Even though Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had a detailed image of how the birth of their son would look in their heads, fate had a plan of its own.
For the birth of their son Silas back in April 2015, the Hollywood sweethearts planned on a serene at home birth down to the very last detail. However, their plans quickly changed when the actress was forced to have an emergency C-section.
In an excerpt from Hollywood nanny Connie Simpson’s new book “The Nanny Connie Way: Secrets to Mastering the First Four Months of Parenthood,” Timberlake and Biel open up on their terrifying change of plans the day they welcomed Silas into the world.
“We had two midwives, one doula, one meditation birthing class, a ton of hippie baby books, and a lovely home in the Hollywood Hills that we had turned into a labor training facility that we called The Octagon. So, not exactly normal,” they admitted according TODAY.
After returning home from the hospital, Timberlake and Biel were “exhausted, disillusioned, and totally in shock,” the actress admitting she quickly drover herself and Timberlake crazy with her obsession to lead a homeopathic lifestyle for their newborn son.
“I was obsessed with everything organic, toxin-free, natural, and homeopathic for our kid, who came into this world in an operating room through an incision,” Biel shared. “I was a dictator, making myself and my husband insane!”
“The Nannie Connie Way: Secrets to Mastering the First Four Months of Parenthood” is set to hit shelves April 10.
