Kelly Clarkson is giving Mariah Carey a run for her money for the title “Queen Of Christmas,” ever since Clarkson first released holiday music!
It’s no question that Kelly Clarkson has a wild amount of talent running through her veins. From her big break after winning American Idol to her array of award-winning achievements, Clarkson has made her mark on the music world. Before she became a mom to four children, she was crushing performances, left and right, any season of the year.
Spreading Christmas Cheer since 2013.
In 2013, she took her talents one leap forward by recording her first Christmas album, Wrapped In Red. The album featured several Christmas classics and even a few originals from the singer herself.
The same year, Clarkson – with the help of some friends – put on Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale. The Christmas TV special starred Clarkson as the lead and had other performances by Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, and Trisha Yearwood. The idea behind the special came from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol where Clarkson learns the true meaning of Christmas. In doing so, Clarkson used her Wrapped In Red album as the music for the show.
For one rockin’ performance, Clarkson took the stage in a fiery red dress.
With a sparkly red microphone and matching stilettos, the singer stunned the audience from every accessory. She performed her own jazzy rendition of “Run Run Rudolph” accompanied by a full band. Clarkson’s vocals go beyond measures as she takes this upbeat song to new levels.
The crowd applauded her with a standing ovation and hollers across The Venetian stage.
Clarkson has continued her Christmas singing every single year, and even hosted the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting!
