Grammy Award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson wears many hats: American Idol champion, singer, songwriter, entertainer, Voice coach, wife, and of course, mom. Well, it looks like she is adding one more hat into the mix!

According to B&C, the original American Idol winner is currently filming a pilot for her own syndicated daytime talk show! The publication reports that Clarkson has a talent deal with NBC Entertainment, which oversees NBCUniversal Television Distribution, and her talk show – which is slated for a fall 2019 premiere – could be shopped to different TV stations in syndication, or could air on a completely other platform.
The Hollywood Reporter points out that Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show Harry will end its two season run in September, so there is a time slot available for Clarkson next year.
If you’re thinking that Clarkson may not be the best person for the job because she’s never hosted anything before, you’re wrong! She recently hosted the Billboard Music Awards, where she killed it!
And to prep for that hosting duty, Ellen DeGeneres set her up with her own talk show during her appearance on The Ellen Show. Maybe Clarkson did so well with this bit that executives thought she could do this for real!
