Kenny Chesney To Release His First Book In November
On Thursday, February 6, Kenny Chesney shared the exciting news that he will be adding “author” to his long list of accomplishments. The country star revealed that he is gearing up to release his first-ever book, Heart Life Music.
Chesney’s new book will give fans a closer look at the people and experiences that shaped his music career. However, the “Summertime” singer made it clear that this isn’t a memoir about his life. This project will be more of a spotlight on the moments that got him where he is today.
From being raised by a single mom to the memories that sparked his love for music, Heart Life Music will share his journey from small-town living to selling out stadiums around the world. In a statement posted to his official website, Chesney stated:
“It is almost a love letter to people who shaped and inspired me, the fans who’ve been there from tiny bars, radio stations who believed when nobody else did, a team who just kept coming back, legends who gave me wisdom and opportunities and all the friends who’ve been there along the way. To me, that’s where the music came from – and this is the story of how it turned into the soundtrack for the way No Shoes Nation lives their lives, too.”

2025 is already shaping up to be a big year for Kenny Chesney. Along with releasing his book in November, he will also be headlining his own Las Vegas residency.
After weeks of speculation, it was confirmed that he would be the first country artist to have a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.
The venue dropped a major hint before the announcement by sharing a video of ocean waves crashing, followed by a familiar blue chair, a guitar, and a cowboy hat. Of course, all of these are symbols that have become iconic to Chesney’s brand.
By this point, everyone pretty much knew that it had to have been Chesney they were referring to. The singer himself confirmed the news during an appearance on the TODAY show the morning after.
“…when the people from Sphere expressed interest in talking with us, I was all in,” he said. “I knew it’d require mountains of work to create something that embraced the 4-D technology while raising the experience so No Shoes Nation was immersed in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”
Chesney will begin his residency at the Las Vegas Sphere on Memorial Day weekend. The entire run will include 12 shows, and tickets are now available to the general public.
