It seems like 2016 is the year for some of the biggest names in country music to celebrate a huge milestone – turning 40!
Blake Shelton hit the big 4-0 earlier in the month, and following him close behind is Luke Bryan, who will celebrate turning 40 on July 17. Jason Aldean will also be turning 40 soon.
Bryan stopped by Entertainment Tonight Canada to spill the beans on his plans for his milestone birthday. He has a show in Bangor, Maine on his actual birthday and we’re sure he’ll do a lot of celebrating there with his fans!
But when he gets back home with his wife, Caroline, and his sons, apparently, it’s up to him what they do!
“Caroline has offered for me to pick what I want to do,” says Bryan about his wife. “So we’re probably going to get some friends together and try and go somewhere fishing or something like that.”
As for the milestone? He’s not too excited about that.
“I wouldn’t say I’m particularly excited about [turning 40]. 30 hit me pretty hard; 40 will hit me pretty hard [too],” he said.
Well, he better brace himself, because July 17 will be here before he knows it!
