On March 23, 2020, Maren Morris gave birth to her first child, a son named Hayes Andrew Hurd. She and husband, singer Ryan Hurd, both took to Instagram to announce the baby’s birth.

On March 27, 2020, Morris detailed her 30-hour labor, followed by an emergency c-section.
She wrote on Instagram that it was “not what we planned but I learned pretty quickly that night that having a plan for bringing a human into the world is a fool’s errand. All that mattered was that he got here safely.”

Well, the family of three were finally able to go home and one of the ways they passed their time, at least on April 5, 2020, was by watching ACM Presents: Our Country, which aired in place of what was supposed to be the 55th Annual ACM Awards.
The TV special featured many performances from country’s biggest names filmed from the comfort of their own homes.
Morris posted a photo of her and Hayes “ready to watch” the special. Hayes was making a cute face while he was sleeping, almost as though he was giving a smirk to the camera!
