Alexis Wilkins Has Been Singing The National Anthem At Turning Point USA Events
There are plenty of country songs about law enforcement, with tunes like George Strait’s “The Weight Of The Badge” readily coming to mind, but there aren’t as many about the FBI.
Perhaps that could someday change?
For nearly three years, FBI Director Kash Patel, 45, has been dating Alexis Wilkins, 27, who is a country singer and political commentator.
Accompanying Patel to the inauguration of President Donald Trump earlier this year, as well as the confirmation hearing and eventual swearing in of her boyfriend, Wilkins has drawn in the spotlight.
Their relationship has even compelled a few watchful eyes to question Patel’s use of his government jet, as he reportedly has used the taxpayer-funded asset to visit Wilkins in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her birthday was November 3, but who is she?
Alexis Wilkins’ Music
A graduate of Belmont University, where she studied political science, Alexis Wilkins has been singing and writing music for much of her life, penning her first song at the age of six.
In 2022, she released her first country song, “Stand,” which is a patriotic song about remembering the sacrifices others have made to protect the freedoms enjoyed in the United States.
According to MSN, Patel and Wilkins met in 2022 at a ReAwaken America event in 2022 and began dating in January of 2023.
From there, she released an EP titled GRIT in 2023, which features her original song “Country Back.”
Focusing on American values, like working hard for the things one has, “Country Back” goes on to say:
“From the music to the flag, I ain’t livin’ in the past. I’m just sayin’ that I want my country back.”
Ahead of the 2024 election, Alexis rereleased “Country Back” with a music video themed around Trump, which can be seen here:
She also released a Christmas country tune in 2023, titled “Old Fashioned Christmas,” which can be heard here:
Alexis Wilkins’ Involvement With Turning Point USA
While she hasn’t recorded any new music since 2023, Alexis Wilkins regularly sings at the beginning of Turning Point USA events.
Just last week, at the October 29 TPUSA stop at the University of Mississippi, Wilkins sang the National Anthem before speaking about her experience as a young conservative.
