Miranda Lambert gave yet another sneak peek into her highly anticipated sixth album, The Weight of These Wings, with newly released song, “Highway Vagabond.”

The high-octane single intertwines the sounds of classic outlaw country with a party repertoire often associated with modern country artists. The song tells the story of a vagabond not tied to anyone or anything, floating from city to city.

“Highway vagabond, living like hippies/Moving right along to the next big city,” she sings. “Okay, jump off the exit / Truck stop, rest stop, next stop Texas.”

“Highway Vagabond” was written by songwriters Luke Dick, Natalie Hemby and Shane McAnnally. The song exudes gypsy spirit with the Eastern inspired melodies. The song title gave name to Lambert’s impending 2017 tour alongside show-openers Aubrie Sellers and Old Dominion.

This is the third song out off her forthcoming album released after “Vice” and “The Keeper of the Flame.” You can listen to the song below and be sure to let us know what you think of it in the comments!
