Fans Spot A Seemingly New EP From Florida Georgia Line On Streaming Services

Former country duo Florida Georgia Line began their partnership in 2010. Two years later, vocalists and Songwriters Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley released their debut single, “Cruise,” and were catapulted into country music success.

“Cruise” broke two major sales records. It was downloaded over seven million times, making it the first-ever country single to receive a diamond certification from the RIAA. Additionally, the song became the best-selling digital country song, with 24 weeks at number one. It was eventually surpassed by Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road” in 2017.

Florida George Line continued to be a prominent act in the country music industry for the next decade. In 2022, the pair took a hiatus, which ultimately resulted in the band’s breakup. Kelley and Hubbard were said to have conflicting career aspirations, and each went on to pursue music as solo artists.

This week, eagle-eyed fans noticed a new addition to Florida Georgia Line’s online catalog. A mysterious EP, titled Deep Cuts & Lost Tracks, Vol. 1, appeared on streaming services including Apple Music and Spotify.

The Discovery Leaves Fans Speculating About A Possible FGL Reunion

Deep Cuts & Lost Tracks, Vol. 1 includes variations of six Florida Georgia Line songs from over the years. The title of the collection suggests that more could be on the way. See the track list below.

  1. Country In My Soul
  2. Smile
  3. Beer:30
  4. Life Is A Honeymoon
  5. Small Town
  6. What Are You Drinking About?

So what does this mean?

Neither Hubbard nor Kelley nor their representatives have commented on the release or the implications behind it. Considering the record label, Big Machine, owns the master recordings of all songs produced during FGL’s active career, the reissue could simply be a revenue generator.

However, many fans feel that the duo has been more amicable as of late, and the surprise EP has ignited hopes of a potential reunion.
