For many years, a cappella group Pentatonix have been making incredible music, even winning multiple Grammy Awards including one with the one and only Dolly Parton for a updated rendition of “Jolene.”
While they’re music is mainly in the pop genre, they do take on many songs outside of their comfort zone including “Bohemian Rhapsody.” They’ve even performed “Elvira” at the CMA Awards.
The respect they’ve earned over the years from fellow musicians and fans is unmatched. Pentatonix is made up of five singers – Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee.

They initially rose to success when they won the third season of NBC’s a cappella competition, The Sing-Off.
Today, their YouTube channel has over 19 million subscribers and 5 billion views, they have won three Grammys, and are multi-platinum recording artists. And now…they will be soon welcoming a baby into their band…again!
In April 2021, percussionist Kevin Olusula and his wife, Leigh, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Kaia.

On March 18, the group posted a video of them singing a song with the lyrics, “I know something you don’t… I know something you will never know.”
All together, the four male bandmates looked at Maldonado, who had a coy grin on her face.

Shortly after, they revealed the news….Maldonado is pregnant with her first child!
“We have cool news, and here’s a small hint. It’s about Kirstie…she is pregnant,” they sang to the tune of Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”
