From the second Scotty McCreery opened his mouth to sing during his American Idol audition, country girls around the world fell head over heels for the charming Southern boy. While he became a celebrity heartthrob practically over night, someone else had long been dreaming of being with him.
It’s likely that Scotty’s kindergarten classmate Gabi Dugal was the first person to ever dream of being with him. After all, her notebook was littered with scribblings of her writing “Mrs. Gabi McCreery.”
Those dreams became reality when Scotty and Gabi said “I do” during a ceremony in the North Carolina mountains after six years together.

By now, you’ve surely seen the dozen or so gorgeous photos that the couple has shared from their wedding. Each one perfectly captures the love they share for each other, while also showing off the natural beauty of the mountains.
The photos were compiled in a mini wedding album that was shared by People. But Scotty also took the time to post some of the photos on his Instagram account.
Each photo prompted “oohs” and “ahhs” from all who looked at them, and the comments were flooded with congratulatory messages for the newlyweds.

While Scotty stayed fairly active on social media during the couple’s extensive honeymoon in Bora Bora, Gabi remained relatively silent.
Appropriately, the first photo Gabi shared since marrying her childhood sweetheart was a wedding photo. But in a huge surprise, the photo she posted was one that none of us have seen before.
The oh-so-adorable photo shows Gabi and Scotty smiling at each other as they prepare to lean in for a kiss. It’s impossible to look at the picture without smiling yourself!
As if the snapshot wasn’t sweet enough, Gabi’s caption was the icing on the cake. “Still so overwhelmed by the love that poured out on this day with the best family and friends by our side,” she wrote.
