Who is Sydnie Christmas?

Sydnie Christmas, hailing from England, worked at a gym’s front desk before her breakthrough on BGT. She’s a seasoned professional singer, having graced theater stages and cruise ships in her career. Prior to her BGT stint, she was featured on an episode of the London-based reality show Stage School, as reported by The Sun.

Her journey on the competition began back in April when she wowed the audience and judges with her rendition of “Tomorrow” from Annie. The 2024 judges panel, which included Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, were so impressed with her audition that she received a standing ovation from all four judges. Amanda Holden was especially impressed and pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending Sydnie straight to the semi-finals.

After being crowned the winner during the finale, host Declan Donnelly asked Sydnie how she was feeling, clearly still in shock from her victory in the competition.

“Oh, I don’t know what to say!” she said. I cannot believe the amount of love that I have felt since it aired… Oh my God, I am overwhelmed with love, and it’s the most amazing thing.” It’s amazing; thank you so much!”
