In East Nashville, Tennessee, a raging house fire broke out early in the morning on Monday, June 22nd, 2020. Alexandria Adams was the first person to capture and share pictures of it on her Twitter account.

“BREAKING: Nashville fire crews are battling a house fire along N 2nd Street. We could see the smoke driving here from the interstate. Working to learn more info,” she wrote in Twitter.

As she was driving on the interstate towards the home she took a picture of a massive grey smoke cloud hovering over the city. When she arrived at the home she took another picture that showed a squad of firefighters putting the fire out and assessing the damages.

It’s located on North 2nd Street and WSMV reported that the fire started in the backyard but then made its way to the house. A woman inside the home says she was sleeping when the house caught on fire but, fortunately, her dog started barking to alarm her and woke her up just in time to get out.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. They are investigating the situation to figure out what could have caused the flames.
