Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator of the Paramount franchise Yellowstone, recently acquired a significant amount of land in Wyoming.
The western drama mogul has purchased yet another ranch, this time in Star Valley, Wyoming, according to reports from TMZ.
Purchased for $4.95 million, Sheridan’s new ranch spans 179 acres and is known as Papa’s Creek Ranch. The property is quite secluded, located about 65 miles from the popular tourist destination of Jackson Hole.
The breathtaking property features stunning mountain views and two winding streams. The land is reportedly completely undeveloped, giving Sheridan the freedom to design and develop the ranch as he pleases.
This isn’t the only massive property in Sheridan’s real estate portfolio, though. In 2021, he purchased the now-famous Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, spanning 266,000 acres, and Bosque Ranch, also in Texas, which covers 600 acres.
Both of these properties have served as filming locations for Sheridan’s Yellowstone series and its prequels, so it’s only natural to assume that his new property in Wyoming could potentially become the backdrop for a future project as well.
Is Yellowstone Getting Renewed for a Sixth Season?
The Western drama series Yellowstone has taken the nation by storm since its debut in 2018, becoming America’s most-watched TV show.
After a nearly two-year hiatus from production, fans finally received a release date for part two of season 5, which has been marketed as the series’ final season. However, recent reports from Deadline suggest that the show may not be ending after all.
Sources indicate that negotiations are underway for a potential sixth season, with Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) and Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) reprising their roles. Initially, it was thought that the two actors were in talks for a spin-off, but it now appears that it could be a continuation of the series.
As of now, neither Taylor Sheridan nor Paramount has confirmed anything regarding a sixth season of Yellowstone.
