Zac Brown Was A Texas Fan For The Day

Country star Zac Brown parted from his beloved Georgia Bulldogs and became a Texas Longhorns fan over the weekend.

The singer admitted he is forever a Georgia fan, but for his fiancee Kendra Scott, he was rooting for Texas.

“Hook’em today but it’s always Go Dawgs. Longhorns and my lady know how to put on a show though,” Brown posted on social media.

Scott, an alum of the University of Texas at Austin, promoted her new eyewear during the game, even giving some lucky fans free merchandise.

“Surprise & Delight— NEW Kendra Scott Eyewear edition!,” the successful jewelry designer wrote.

In 2020, Scott was appointed a Professor of Practice at her alma mater, co-teaching the Women in Entrepreneurship course.

Brown & Scott Make It Official!

The couple made their relationship public in May of 2025, just a few years after the country star announced his divorce from ex-wife Kelly Yazdi.

The pair showed up on the red carpet together at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas at the time, with sources telling PEOPLE they were set up by a “mutual” friend.

“They were set up by a mutual friend, and are totally in love,” the source explained. “They are head over heels and have become inseparable.”

Scott is most well-known for her successful jewelry line, but also remains incredibly passionate about philanthropy, launching the Kendra Scott Foundation, an organization that aims to “empower women and youth in the areas of health and wellness, education, and entrepreneurship.”
