Everyone handles pre-surgery jitters differently, however, country singer Maren Morris‘ technique just might take the cake.
In a video shared to her personal Instagram page, the Grammy-winning country singer shared a video of her take on Nina Simone’s sultry tune, “Turn Me On,” prior to getting her wisdom teeth removed.
“Getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow so I want to play while I can. Old Nina Simone song I love,” Morris captioned her video.
“Turn Me On” was originally recorded by Mark Dinning in 1961, the song later released by Simone. Norah Jones later recorded the song for her debut album Come Away with Me, Jones’ rendition later featured on 2003 film Love Actually.
