Donald Trump Is Being Inaugurated Alongside His Family
Donald Trump makes history once again as he is inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States, having previously served as the 45th president.
Grover Cleveland is the only other president in U.S. history to serve two non-consecutive terms. He was elected as the 22nd president in 1884 and again as the 24th president after winning the 1892 election.
This inauguration is also notable for being held indoors due to freezing weather conditions. Ronald Reagan was the last president to have an indoor ceremony during his second inauguration.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 11 AM on January 20th, alongside his vice president, JD Vance, and his incredibly supportive family.
Donald Trump’s Family Is In Full Support
Trump has involved his family in his presidential campaigns from the beginning. His daughter, Ivanka Trump, was closely involved in the campaign that led to his first presidential win. While his son, Donald Trump Jr., took her place during his second campaign. The Trump family is openly supportive of Trump’s political career.
Notably, his granddaughter, Kai Trump, bravely spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) when she was just 17 years old to support her grandfather’s presidential campaign. This speech occurred shortly after he survived an assassination attempt.

Recently, Eric Trump shared his excitement for his father’s presidential win on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed how it renewed his hope for his children, Luke and Carolina.
“The past 10 years have been a constant fight — countless rallies, TV appearances, subpoenas, depositions, and weeks in cold courtrooms. Through endless attacks on my family, the company I run, and the employees I care for, we faced slander, fake news, home raids, and countless games designed to break us. But now, as I board this beautiful plane en route to Washington D.C. with two beautiful children — so innocent to the harsh realities of the world — I know that every ounce of my fight has been for them and the future of their generation.”
