John Rich Posted On X, Calling Out His Fellow Conservative Artists

John Rich has used his platform as a country music artist to share his political opinions and does not hold back.

Rich shares political updates and has amassed 1.3 million followers as an active X user. He is conservative-leaning in his views and, based on his outspoken voice, a Donald Trump supporter.

However, his platform’s biggest theme is his value for America and his desire to keep the patriotic spirit alive.

Recently, it was announced that Carrie Underwood would be singing at Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Carrie Underwood released a statement after it was announced that she would sing for the 47th President’s inauguration. She stressed keeping America unified and moving forward as a country. John Rich especially praised this view.

John Rich Calls Out Conservatives

Rich said that seeing Carrie Underwood step up and share her views got him thinking about why conservative country artists have yet to be heard.

He began to compare the liberal country artists who have been vocal over the years about their political views, including Garth Brooks, who sang for Joe Biden’s inauguration, and Brad Paisley, who supported COVID vaccines with Jill Biden. Rich went on to say:

I don’t agree with those guys, but at least they had enough conviction to step forward and make those moves. Brad was all about the vaccines with Jill. Garth was all about Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton. Clinton, and everybody else. So where are the big time A-listers that are conservative in country music?”

Although he does not agree with their politics, he respected their ability to step forward and took to X to call out conservative country voices who have yet to speak their mind. He said:

After that tweet, Rich made a video that went into the subject in depth.

In this video, he further explains his views on the subject. Again, he congratulated Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley even though he disagreed and shared that it is not outlaw to be quiet. He said:

So listen, if you’re a big country artist and you follow me, come on, come on. It ain’t outlaw to sit around and keep your mouth shut. All right. You can’t claim to love Johnny Cash and Kristofferson and Willie and Waylon and Tanya and Loretta and on and on and say that you’re following in their footsteps when you keep your mouth shut.”

Rich finished his video by saying:

All right. God bless you and God bless America. Now grow a pair. All right. Get her done.”
