Who Are The Top 8 Contestants On Season 26 Of The Voice?
The Voice‘s Top 8 contestants performed during the first live show of the season on Monday (December 2), with Danny Joseph delivering a top-tier Chris Stapleton cover.
Only eight singers remain on Season 26 after the pre-filmed blind auditions, battles, knockouts, and playoffs. They are:
- Jan Dan & Sydney Sterlace of Team Gwen
- Jeremy Beloate & Christina Eagle of Team Snoop
- Adam Bohanan & Danny Joseph of Team Reba
- Shye & Sofronio Vasquez of Team Bublé
Joseph’s Voice journey began when he earned a four-chair turn during the auditions for his cover of Jay Hawkins’ “I Put a Spell On You.” Snoop Dogg used his block on Michael Bublé, but Hawkins ended up choosing Reba McEntire as his coach.
Joseph won his battle performance but lost his knockout. However, McEntire jumped in to use her “save” on the talented rocker, and he advanced to the playoffs.
Then, when it came time to choose the two contestants she wanted to take into the live shows, McEntire named Joseph as one of those contestants.
Danny Joseph Delivers Dynamic Cover Of Chris Stapleton’s “I Was Wrong”
Joseph proved himself with his performance during the semi-finals. He opted to cover a Chris Stapleton track, “I Was Wrong.”
