Two-year-old Sawyer Frederick saw military members lined up with American flags, and what happened next was incredible.
Over the years, the Internet has been graced with many incredible military videos, but this one might be our favorite.
According to ABC News, Sawyer’s dad is an assistant coach for the University of North Carolina men’s Basketball team. In 2016, the team traveled to Houston for its Final Four games, and the Frederick family joined them.
Members of the United States military greeted the team, and after watching his older brothers shake the hands of the troops, Sawyer wanted to do the same.
Sawyer’s mom, Jocelyn, captured the sweet moment on camera, which went completely viral!
Sawyer walked up to each soldier and shook their hand. He is likely too young to understand what he is doing, but it probably meant a lot to the soldiers.
ABC also reported that Sawyer’s grandfather and great-grandfather served in the military.
