Season 20 of The Voice is only in the Battle Round of competition and they have already announced the lineup of coaches for next season.

Coaches on The Voice have always rotated in and out, but in recent years, Blake Shelton hasn’t been the only mainstay. Kelly Clarkson joined the show in Season 14 and John Legend joined in Season 16, and neither has left the show since.

Gwen Stefani, Nick Jonas, and Jennifer Hudson have all rotated in on that final coaching spot, but there is going to be a new face for Season 21, pop star Ariana Grande.

The singer made the announcement on her social media channels with a photo of her sitting on the iconic red coaching chair, saying she is “beyond thrilled, honored, and excited” to be on the next season of The Voice.

This is not the first time Grande will have teamed up with her fellow Voice coaches. She and Legend performed “Beauty And The Beast” for Disney’s 2017 live-action remake.

While she and Clarkson have never collaborated, Clarkson has covered Grande’s songs on a few occasions. Watch her Kellyoke version of Grande’s “Imagine” below.
