Just a single five-minute scene shared to YouTube has caused a tremendous outcry from fans online demanding that it be turned into a full motion picture.
On Monday, October 11th, 2021 – actor Jamie Costa shared a clip titled “ROBIN Test Footage Scene” in which he depicts Robin Williams during his Mork & Mindy days.

As the clip begins rolling, Costa is joined by Sara Murphree as Pam Dawber when she explains to him that one of their close friends had died the evening prior. The scene is set for March 5th, 1982 – the same day that comedian John Belushi died from a drug overdose.

As she tries to interrupt his frantic running of sporadic Mork lines for the show, she gets frustrated and just shouts at him to pay attention. Silence hits him and she’s able to convey the tragic news…but he’s unwilling to hear it.
“No, I told you, I was with him. John’s not dead, I was with him last night.”
Clearly distressed, the scene is interrupted by a knock on his trailer door calling for Williams to be back on set. And just like that, he returns to running his lines – but less enthusiastic and clearly upset.
After the video was published, it earned millions of views each day and has ignited a growing outcry for a biopic centered on Williams’ life starring Jamie Costa.
