When it comes to the rollercoaster ride that embodies the unpredictable loops and twists of life, leave it to a child to put those seemingly unbearable problems into a lighter perspective. After all, children have the most simplistic approach when analyzing situations, often giving the most obvious, and usually correct, solution. In the case of 4-year-old Brooke, those problems are “so small” in comparison to what really adds value to one’s life.
Brooke treated her fellow church goers to a special Sunday morning performance of country music star Carrie Underwood‘s inspiring song “So Small”. Dressed in a darling pink and white polka dot dress, this little angel confidently took to the alter, equipped with her innocent smile and blonde curls, and began to softly sing the emotional number.
Seeing that this song choice in particular is already calling for tissues in light of its heavy and very uplifting lyrics, the addition of Brooke’s angelic and pure voice made any chance at a dry eye disappear. The little star continued through the entire song with a breaming smile, even sending her audience into a chuckle upon trying to keep up with Underwood’s “yeah, yeah, yeahs.”
As Brooke’s song gradually comes to a close, the church erupts in applause, leaving the child with immense pride and the energy to give an approaching woman a solid high five!
