Last month, Bindi Irwin shocked fans by announcing that she was taking a break from social media and public work.
In an Instagram post, Bindi bid her temporary farewell to fans and indicated that she wanted to take time to focus on her mental health. Bindi did not specify what ultimately motivated the decision. Still, fans assumed that the young conservationist wished to step away for her daughter, Grace, born in March.

Now, Bindi’s brother, Robert, finally confirmed how Bindi has chosen to spend her recess from the public eye. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Robert explained that Bindi is trying to “prioritize just time with family.” Robert explained:
“She is such a good mom and she’s really tried to now prioritize just time with family. She’s taking time out with, of course, Chandler, her husband, and her beautiful daughter, Grace, and so me being an uncle getting to be in there and be involved, it’s just amazing and I never thought I’d see my big sister as a mom. It’s just a really surreal and wonderful experience and to have a new family member is just awesome.”

While there is no word on when Bindi might decide to return to social media, fans can continue to watch her adventures by following the Australia Zoo.
