Tim McGraw Is Coming To Las Vegas

In June, Tim McGraw performed his first live show in just under a year due to back-to-back major surgeries. During a podcast interview on the Bobby Bones Show, McGraw revealed he has spent most of his time recovering. After touring, the singer shared he had to get a double knee replacement.

The “Something Like That” singer said he was “in the process of recovering from my knee surgeries, my back went out again and I had to have another back surgery.”

Since then, McGraw has played everywhere from Nashville to Michigan. He announced on Friday (October 3), he would soon be coming to Las Vegas!

“Vegas!! I’m coming to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this December 4–13!,” McGraw shared with fans.

Dolly Parton Postpones Her Vegas Residency

Earlier this year, Dolly Parton announced that she was heading to Las Vegas for a special six-show residency this upcoming December.

The limited run of performances were set to take place at The Colosseum. Tickets for all six shows went on sale through Ticketmaster on June 25 at 10 AM Pacific Time.

Not long after tickets went on sale, Ticketmaster officially announced that all six shows had sold out in less than an hour and a half. Caesars Palace then confirmed the news shortly after with a post on their social media.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Parton announced earlier this month that she had been forced to postpone the upcoming shows due to unforeseen “health challenges.”

I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my hundred thousand mile checkup, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!” she told fans on social media.

Tim Will Perform On Some Of Dolly’s Canceled Dates

Now, McGraw will take over performing on some of the dates Parton was expected to be at Caesar’s Palace. The country music icon will take the stage in place of Parton on her December 4, 6, 12, and 13 expected show nights.

The Colosseum has been home to a number of artists and residencies, including some of this summer’s headliners featuring Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez, Alanis Morissette, Blake Shelton, Def Leppard, and Rod Stewart.

The venue has an estimated seating capacity of 4,100 and is located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
