Dolly Parton Is Heading To Las Vegas
Fans will have a rare chance to see Dolly Parton perform live in Las Vegas during a special limited run of shows later this year.
Dolly Parton has been keeping a lighter schedule in recent years after announcing her retirement from full-time touring.
The last time that the country icon hit the road was for her Pure & Simple tour in 2016. Since then, she has only performed occasionally at specific events.
That’s why her latest announcement has fans absolutely ecstatic.
On Monday, June 23, the “9 to 5” singer revealed she’ll be returning to the stage for a six-show run this December. The performances are going to be held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Officially titled Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, the limited show series will feature Parton performing some of her most iconic hits from her seven-decade career.
This is Parton’s first time performing a string of back-to-back shows in Las Vegas in nearly 30 years. The last time she did something similar was during her time at the Mirage Hotel in the early 90s.
“To say I’m excited would be an understatement,” Parton said in a statement, as per Billboard. “I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there!”

Parton’s special Vegas performances are scheduled to run from December 4 to December 13. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster starting Wednesday, June 25, at 10 AM Pacific Time.
It has also been confirmed that devoted fans will have the chance to purchase VIP packages for the upcoming shows.
Those offers will include “a personal photo op with Dolly herself, an onstage tour, access to Dolly’s Rhinestone Lounge, a deluxe gift set, and more.”
