Ella Langley Prepares To Release Her Sophomore Album
Alabama native Ella Langley is quickly solidifying herself as a frontrunner in modern country music. Her debut album, Hungover, was released in August 2024 and debuted at No. 77 on the Billboard 200 and No. 11 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
She is gearing up for the release of her second studio album, Dandelion, set for April 10th. Four tracks from the album are already available – “Choosin’ Texas,” “Dandelion,” “Be Her,” and “Loving Life Again.” The first of these has sold more than any other song from any genre so far this year (as reported by ChartData).
Additionally, the 26-year-old made history as the seventh female country artist to ever top the Billboard 100 cross-genre chart.
Dandelion contains 18 tracks and will be co-produced by fellow country music queen Miranda Lambert. She shared her excitement ahead of the project and wrote online:
“Thank you Ella for “Choosin Texas” (🙋♀️😘) to help you produce this amazing record. It’s been an honor working with you and Ben. I cherish your friendship sister. You are a Dandelion and I can’t wait for the world to hear this. ❤️”

Ella Langley Reveals Her Surprising Dream Collaborators
As a relatively new artist, Ella Langley already boasts an impressive list of collaborators. These include Riley Green, Luke Bryan, Kameron Marlowe, HARDY, BigXthaPlug, and, of course, Miranda Lambert.
In a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet of the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Ella revealed her short list of dream collaborators. Fans may be surprised to learn that her top two are not in country music. She shared:
“John Mayer would be cool. I think Bruno Mars would be really cool. And if I’m thinking country, me and Lainey Wilson haven’t done a song together yet. I think we should…“
John Mayer is no stranger to country collabs, having released songs with Zach Bryan, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, and Taylor Swift (when she was still considered country). Bruno Mars has also collaborated with Chris Stapleton, marking his only country music crossover so far.
Ella added that Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane Stapleton, would be on the list as well. Watch Ella Langley’s interview below!
