Carrie Underwood Is Gearing Up To Do The Last Round Of Shows For Her Vegas Residency

Last year, Carrie Underwood announced that she would be officially wrapping up her Reflection Las Vegas residency.

Underwood has been performing at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas since December 2021.

During each show, the audience gets to witness the country superstar perform some of her biggest hits, including “Before He Cheats,” “Something in the Water,” and “Good Girl.”

“I have always loved touring, but having the chance to play for an extended period of time in one place has really been satisfying — I love that we get to do this show for people who have come to Las Vegas from all over the world,” Underwood said in an interview with PEOPLE.

Once she finishes her final round of shows, Underwood will have performed 72 times during her residency over the past three years, which is an incredible achievement.

It has even given her the chance to try things she never could have before and experiment with her production, choreography, and overall performance.

“We always like to bring big production values to our show, but Reflection really allowed us to take that to a new level,” she told the outlet.

“We have some amazing set pieces that we could never pack onto trucks and move from city to city every night, and it’s been really fun adding more elements like the aerialists and dancers, which we don’t usually have in the show.”

Just because her residency is ending doesn’t mean fans are out of luck when it comes to seeing what goes on during her shows, though.

Back in January, Underwood released a television special of her Las Vegas performances, which is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.

It’s a bittersweet moment for Underwood to say goodbye to Las Vegas, but it makes sense, given her busy schedule. She is now a judge on American Idol this season and is fully involved in helping find the next big star.

The last round of shows for Carrie Underwood’s residency began on March 26, with the remaining dates scheduled for March 28, March 29, April 2, April 4, April 5, April 9, April 11, and April 12.
