Even though Cher is a pop icon, she keeps good country company! In December 2018, the legend was honored alongside several others – including Reba McEntire – at the Kennedy center Honors.
Cher was a guest recently on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and they both found common ground when the topic of Willie Nelson came up! Cher was promoting her new Decades Eau de Parfum Collection, a perfume collection commemorating four of the decades she dominated the charts – 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
It's Finally Here! 🧡💖💜💙

As Cher was talking about the different decades, Clarkson joked that she was surprised the 70s icon scent didn’t smell like weed.
“I was like, ‘Oh! This one will obviously smell like Willie Nelson’s bus,'” Clarkson quipped.
Cher quickly reacted, “Oh my God I’ve been on Willie Nelson’s bus! It smells exactly marijuana!”
“I went on Willie Nelson’s bus once and I got a contact high!” Clarkson said.
“It was a terrible old bus, but he was great! And just drugs…everywhere,” Cher added.
Clarkson added that everything was nicely laid out for Nelson and his friends to use.
“It was everything you wanted it to be when you walked in, but when you walked out you were definitely hungry,” Clarkson said, joking about the “munchies” that people tend to get after they’ve smoked weed.
