Chris Stapleton knows how to do a lot of things very well. The 42-year-old from Kentucky can write songs, sing, shred on guitar, and finally, he can leave fans in complete suspense.

On Monday, August 24, 2020, the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer deleted every last post on his social media pages and left fans scratching their heads. Once all of his posts were gone, he then posted a very cryptic video that shows various images, including horses, bugs, and flowers. Among these images, we see footage of a choir singing and as well as Stapleton performing in a recording studio. At the very end, the screen goes black and shows the date 11.13.20, which leads us to believe that there could be some new music on the way from Stapleton.

Fans everywhere have been waiting with anticipation for new music from Stapleton since it has been three years since his last release, which was the Grammy-nominated From A Room: Volume 2.

On Tuesday, August 25, 2020, Stapleton shared another post on social media. He changed his profile picture to text that reads, “Starting Over” which is a good indicator that this could be the title track to a new album.

He also shared a sample of the song, and promised “new music this Thursday at Noon ET.”
