Beth and Tom Motzel from New Jersey got the surprise of a lifetime when they left their messy home and came back to find it immaculately clean.
“He said, ‘You won’t believe it. Somebody broke in our house and cleaned the entire thing,’” Beth said, according to WDBJ7. “Tom and I laughed forever about it. He fixed it all up. I mean, details. He cleaned up after the cats, played with the cats, fed the cats. And he wiped everything spotless. He really is a cleaning fairy.”
Louis Angelino III said when he cleaned the home, he thought it was his friend’s house. He continued to say that he went to the address and found the key under the mat as he was instructed to do and started cleaning right away.
Louis noted that he works a nine-to-five job and also cleans his friend’s houses on the side for extra money.
“It’s just very satisfying, and it really helped me with my mental health and everything else because if you’re in a clean environment, your mind is clean,” he said.
He had gotten done with cleaning the entire house and was playing with the two house cats, Mary and Bob, when his friend Mark called him about the job.
“Mark’s like, ‘Hey, did you come today? Did you clean?’” Louis said. “‘I’m in your living room, waiting for you to walk in. I’m playing with your cat.’ He goes, ‘Man, I don’t have a cat.’”
It was at this point Louis realized he had cleaned the wrong apartment.
Beth and Tom were not upset about the intruder. However, they did find it funny and Tom filmed a video showing off the immaculately clean home. Check out the footage of that below as well as Louis telling his story to a news reporter.
