Couples Can Walk Through The “Tunnel Of Love” 140ft In The Air

Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, the Gatlinburg Sky Park holds the title of Tennessee’s Attraction of the Year. In addition to the gorgeous scenery, the park boasts being the home to North America’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge known as the SkyBridge.

Throughout the year the SkyBridge gets decorated for different events -including its latest, “Love is in the Air.” The main feature of this event is without a doubt “The Tunnel of Love,” in which the SkyBridge is transformed using over 18,000 red and white lights to create a visual masterpiece in celebration of Valentine’s day. Visitors can experience the Tunnel of Love throughout the entire month of February.

Located in downtown Gatlinburg, visitors take a chairlift up Crockett Mountain to a mountaintop deck where they can soak in the breathtaking beauty of the Smoky Mountains surrounding the views in every direction. It is up here where the experience the one and only SkyBridge.

The SkyBridge stretches 680 feet across a valley and has glass panels in the middle that allow visitors to see the ground 140 feet below.

In addition to the bridge, visitors can sit down, eat food, and enjoy a full-service bar with plenty of outdoor seating.
