Morgan Wallen’s 2018 debut album, If I Know Me, kicks off with a song featuring Florida Georgia Line, titled “Up Down.”

While Florida Georgia Line is no longer together, that didn’t stop Morgan from performing the song over the weekend.

On July 11 and July 12, he brought out rising country artist Gavin Adcock to sing the song with him at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Gavin Adcock’s First Stadium Show

Joining Morgan’s I’m The Problem Tour, which is a stadium tour in support of Morgan’s new album, I’m The Problem, these shows in Miami were Gavin’s first stadium shows.

Posting to Instagram, Gavin wrote, “First stadium show ✔️Let’s run it back tonight.”

In a post following the second night of the Miami shows, Gavin said, “One day you’re playing for 250 people in a dive bar and then you blink and you’re singing for 50 thousands [sic].”

On stage for night two, Gavin had a bottle of liquid courage in hand, with the bottle of Jack Daniels swinging by his side as he and Morgan made their way down the catwalk.

More On Gavin Adcock

Two weeks before Gavin’s appearance on the I’m The Problem Tour, Gavin made news as he criticized Beyoncé and her album Cowboy Carter at a show on June 29.

Noting there were some artists ahead of him on the Apple Music charts, where his 2024 debut album Actin’ Up Again was ranked No. 4, he went on to tell the crowd, “One of them’s Beyoncé. You can tell her we’re comin’ for her f’ a*.”

He added, “That s*** ain’t country music, and it never been country music, and it ain’t gonna be country music.”

Shortly after his remarks went viral, Gavin addressed his comments, posting a video where he said, “I really don’t believe that her album should be labeled as country music. It doesn’t sound country, it doesn’t feel country.”

Watch him clarify his comments, here:

Since then, he has turned his comments about Beyoncé into an ongoing joke of sorts.

Here, Gavin jokes about the idea of apologizing (foul language, included):
