In 2017, Madame Tussauds wax museum opened a brand-new location in the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Music City location features upwards of 30 wax figures, all specially made for this location. Legends including Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Waylon Jennings, and Minnie Pearl are all immortalized in wax.
When Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley hosted the ACM Awards, they even brought out Bryan’s wax figure for during the show!

Shortly after Madame Tussauds opened, Kellie Pickler decided to trick some fans of hers into thinking she was a wax figurine!
Years later in October 2021, Darius Rucker wanted to get in on the fun! He posed in the Grand Ole Opry part of the museum and as people were walking by and admiring his wax figure, he scared them. Some were more freaked out than others, but our favorite part was hearing Rucker’s laugh!
We can’t imagine how these fans must have felt! But meeting Darius in real life was probably a good trade.
