Dolly Parton Has A New “9 to 5” With The Release Of Her Makeup Line “Dolly Beauty”
Dolly Parton is set to launch her newest entrepreneurial venture this month. She has previously released her own wine, perfume, and even a novel with James Patterson called Run, Rose, Run.
The country music icon has been busy in recent years, and she is taking her next step by creating a beauty line called “Dolly Beauty.”
Parton took to Instagram to tease her new makeup line on August 13th. She wrote in her caption:
“I feel glamorous on the inside, so I want to look like it on the outside… something is coming @dollybeauty 💄.”

Why Did She Choose Makeup?
Parton is known for her musical genius and extravagant look, which started very young. The “Jolene” star delved into her fashion and style inspiration in a recent interview with WWD:
“I’ve always said I never leave a rhinestone unturned. I’ve wanted to be pretty my whole life like most girls, especially country girls that have a dream of glamour. I started creating my own little makeup things at home when I was just a kid, and I’ve been known for wearing makeup — usually too much — for years.”

When Is Dolly Beauty Hitting The Shelves?
The country singer’s beauty line will be available to the public on August 22nd, only a few short days away!
What Can You Expect From Dolly Beauty?
She will begin the launch with lipstick named after her hit songs, including one she has revealed as “Jolene Red.” It is not yet confirmed what Parton will release after lipstick, but in her Nashville interview with WWD, she did confirm that there will be more products launching in the future:
“I’ve always wanted my own wig line, But I always loved makeup, and when we did the fragrance, makeup seemed like the next step. Through the years, we’ll be doing different products with makeup, and eventually, we may do hair care or this or that. Anything that has to do with beauty — new dreams come every day.”
