The 2023 ACM Awards – hosted by Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton – streamed live on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday, May 11. Many awards were given out and countless performances were given, but one of our favorite awards that is given out is Duo of the Year!
The Duo of the Year nominees are as follows:
- Brooks & Dunn
- Brothers Osborne
- Dan + Shay
- Maddie & Tae
- The War and Treaty
Brooks and Dunn have taken home this award over 15 times, with their first time being in 1991…years before a couple of their fellow nominees were even born!
Brothers Osborne has won the award 3 times – 2016, 2017, and 2022. Dan + Shay won in 2014, 2020 and 2021. While Maddie and Tae have never won, they have been nominated in this category nearly every year since 2015. This year marks The War and Treaty’s first Duo of the Year nomination at the ACM Awards!
