This professional bull rider has his eyes (and maybe heart) set on someone he met while on the show – and he’s coming clean about it all!
While dancing pro, Sharna Burgess, and Bonner Bolton had intense chemistry on the dance floor, there was no romantic connection – a point that they both made abundantly clear in interviews throughout the season and following being voted off earlier this week.
Burgess, who is already spoken for, opened up about her boyfriend about halfway through the season and confirmed that she was not romantically interested in Bolton – a sentiment he echoed. But while Burgess is already dating someone, Bolton is definitely single and keeping his eyes open.
In a new Facebook Live video interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bolton spoke openly about his time on Dancing With The Stars, his paralyzing bull riding injury, and even confessed that he would love to go on a date with one of his colleagues from the show!
“I like a girl that’s outgoing, got a lot going on for herself, but, you know, not too into herself… gotta be independent,” he told the entertainment outlet. “Someone who’s positive and beautiful on the inside and out.”
Clarifying his friendship with Burgess, Bolton added that the pair are “great friends” and said that they are “definitely better off friends” adding that “it’s gonna stay that way”.
Although there’s not a romantic bond with his dancing pro, it seems he has his eyes on one of the fellow contestants, Normani Kordei!
“You know what, I love that girl,” He confessed of Kordei. “She is just so beautiful inside and out, when she walks in the room, the whole room lights up.”
“She is such a sweetheart and [was] an encouragement to me the whole time I was there. She’s obviously the top performer that came on the show, who’s out there killin’ it in her real life every day. I respect her and admire her a whole lot and I really am thankful she asked me to be a part of her number, that was super special.”
To add to the statement about his hopeful romance, Bolton says that he definitely would say yes if she asked him out on a date!
