The 60th Annual ACM Awards Honor Achievements In Country Music
Tonight (May 8th), the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards celebrated their 60th year. Now the longest-running awards show in the genre, the ACM Awards bring together the best and brightest in country music.
The milestone ceremony took place at the Ford Center in Frisco, TX, and was hosted by 16-time ACM winner, Reba McEntire. In partnership with Amazon, the event was streamed live for country music fans to enjoy worldwide.

A stellar lineup of artists took the stage throughout the night, delivering performances that made the evening even more memorable. The show opened with a 12-minute “songs of the decades” medley featuring Reba, Wynonna Judd, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Clint Black, and Sugarland.

Winner Announced For Single Of The Year
The ACM Award for Single of the Year is awarded to both the artist(s) and the producer(s).
Five impactful songs received nominations in the category:
- Shaboozey – “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”
- Cody Johnson – “Dirt Cheap”
- Post Malone and Morgan Wallen – “I Had Some Help”
- Chris Stapleton – “White Horse”
- Ella Langley and Riley Green – “you look like you love me”
Reba McEntire shared the exciting news that “you look like you love me” by Ella Langley and Riley Green had won the award!

Ella Langley and Riley Green Accept The ACM Award
“You look like you love me” was released in June 2024. It became Ella’s first and Riley’s second number-one hit on the Country Airplay chart.
Ella, who just got off stage from performing “If It Weren’t For The Wind,” said:
“I’m still out of breath… and I feel like I kind of have been since this song came out.”
She shared that writing the song “taught me to not care so much and write what you love.”
Riley Green added:
“I’m so proud of Ella and how she represents the state of Alabama with me.”
