Eric Church, Luke Combs, and more will donate their time and talent in support of hurricane relief efforts

Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the southeastern part of the United States after making landfall on Thursday, September 26th. Now, more than a week later, thousands of residents remain without power, shelter, and basic necessities as relief efforts are ongoing.

The death toll from the category 4 hurricane has now surpassed 200, according to the Associated Press. Given the nature of the destruction, it is expected that the total number of fatalities will rise as affected areas become more accessible.

Many country music artists have stepped up to raise awareness, make donations, and provide general support for their fellow Americans who were impacted by this natural disaster.

Concert for Carolina will raise funds to support hurricane recovery

Today (October 7), Church and Combs announced Concert for Carolina, a collaborative benefit concert that will take place on October 26th at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Billy Strings and James Taylor will also perform during what is sure to be a memorable evening.

This concert took so much planning, work, and coordination from so many people. I’m so thankful to everyone who helped make this a possibility on such short notice,” said Luke Combs about the show.

All proceeds from Concert for Carolina will go to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts in the Carolina region. This includes ticket sales as well as an auction and raffle to take place that evening.
