While sitting down with Entertainment Weekly amidst their second joint Soul2Soul World Tour, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw share the stories of working together and being on the road for long stretches of time with your spouse.

Both country stars absolutely love what they do and they love every night when they can feel the incredible energy from the audience bouncing back to them on stage, but in a funny moment Hill put her foot down about something she would never stand for while they were performing together.

One of McGraw’s biggest hits to ever hit radio waves, “Live Like You Were Dying”, has admittedly run its course for the performer – something that’s not uncommon for a person who has performed something thousands of times. But, when McGraw was considering cutting it from the set list for their new tour, Hill confesses she wouldn’t have ever stood by for that, saying, “I would’ve packed my bags and left if he’d done that!”

The hit country song has been a true inspiration to many folks throughout the years and continues to help many people find comfort during hard times of their lives while also speaking to others in different ways. That’s something Hill recognizes to the fullest extent.

What would you think if Tim McGraw pulled the song from their performances? Let us know in the comments.
