“The King” of country music, George Strait, brought heartwarming news to family and fans through an update on his website. With a strait-forward title, the singer announced, “The Strait family proudly announces the arrival of Jillian Louise Strait.”
The post’s description stated,
“The Strait family proudly announces the arrival of Jilliann Louise Strait on September 10, 2016. Jilliann is the beautiful new granddaughter to George and Norma Strait, daughter to Bubba and Tamara Strait, and sister to Big Brother Harvey.”
Although this is Strait’s second grandchild, this is his first granddaughter, already guaranteeing that this little gem is sure to have Strait wrapped around her little finger in a matter of time! Strait’s eldest grandchild, George Harvey Strait III, was born back in 2012 and ultimately named after the legend himself. The little cowboy also made an appearance in his Grandpa Strait’s promotion video for his album “Cold Beer Conversation” late last year.
