Happy’s Place Fans Get Excited

Happy’s Place fans can get excited once again – the show has officially been renewed for Season 3!

The show, which first premiered in October 2024, has been a huge success among viewers.

The plot follows Reba McEntire’s character, Bobbie, who inherits her father’s bar after his passing. However, while reviewing his will, she discovers she has a half-sister named Isabella (played by Belissa Escobedo). Together, they must learn to run the business while navigating any challenge that may come their way.

With its pilot reaching over 10 million viewers across all platforms, Happy’s Place became the most watched new comedy series to ever launch on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock.

One of the most special parts of Happy’s Place was just how many familiar faces McEntire brought back on the show.

Melissa Peterman, who played Barbara Jean on Reba, was cast as a main character named Gabby, a bartender and Bobbie’s best friend. Christopher Rich, who played Reba’s ex-husband Brock on her early sitcom, returned to acting after a long break to take on the role of Maverick on the show, a tattoo artist.

In Season 2, JoAnna Garcia Swisher joined the cast playing Kenzie, a character described as “a local Knoxville influencer who has been hired to represent Happy’s Place for their upcoming social media marketing campaign and all of it is much to Bobbie’s (McEntire) chagrin.”
