Harrison Ford Stars In Taylor Sheridan’s 1923, A Prequel To The Hit Show Yellowstone
The series premiered two years ago, and the long-awaited second season will begin airing on Paramount+ on February 23. After Yellowstone recently released its final episode, fans are eager to see more of the beloved Dutton family.
Harrison Ford, one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood, is known for his roles in the Indiana Jones series, Star Wars, and many other notable films.
When he read the script for season two of 1923, he expressed excitement for the upcoming story. Saying, “It’s a treasure for an actor to read this kind of stuff.”
Ford’s on-screen wife is Helen Mirren, who plays Cara Dutton.
In an interview with People, the on-screen couple shared some insights into what fans can expect from Season 2.
The Duttons will be working to protect their land from enemy forces while facing the challenges of a harsh winter. They will have to navigate not only man-made obstacles but also the difficulties presented by nature itself. Ford and Mirren provided a glimpse into the struggles that await the Dutton family this season.
“There’s a storm a-coming, and we know it, There’s nature and mankind. And if nature won’t get ya…”
“Mankind will,” Mirren says, finishing Ford’s sentence.

The Rest Of The Cast Shares Their Thoughts On Season 2
The rest of the cast of 1923 also shared their thoughts on Season 2.
Darren Mann (Jack Dutton) says, “I have never seen anything like it. Everything about it is just so authentic.”
Brandon Sklenar shared what he thought about Taylor Sheridan’s new script. He said, “He really brought it with his writing. He always does, but this just feels like a whole other level.”
Sklenar also mentioned their fight with nature, saying, “the elements, being able to keep up and feed themselves and keep everything moving.” Mann agreed, “It’s just the reality of this world and trying to survive.”
Julia Schlaepfer, who plays Alexandra, revealed that Season 2 will be emotional for the audience. She shared that “Taylor [Sheridan] sent me the scripts, and I was weeping.”
