Jelly Roll Wins Big At The 2026 Grammy Awards
Jelly Roll was arguably the man of the night at this year’s 68th Grammy Awards. On Sunday (February 1), Jelly took home Best Contemporary Country Album, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance during the show.
The “Amen” singer has enjoyed a standout year, balancing a worldwide tour while also shedding a significant amount of weight.
On Wednesday, December 10, Jelly Roll’s dreams came even more true when he received the highest honor a country artist can get: an invitation to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Followed by years of living in and out of incarceration, Jelly is an absolute inspiration to the world!
Turning Point USA Announces Alternate Super Bowl Halftime Show
Just one day following the Grammys, Turning Point USA announced its official lineup for the “All-American Halftime Show.” The show will serve as a counter program to the official NFL halftime show featuring Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny.
It is being promoted as an event “celebrating faith, family, and freedom.” TPUSA shared Monday (February 2) that Kid Rock, Lee Brice, Gabby Barrett, and Brantley Gilbert will be performing during the show.
Jelly Shares His Halftime Performance Choices
It seems Jelly is on board with the TPUSA lineup, revealing on the red carpet ahead of the awards ceremony who he’d choose if the halftime show were up to him.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly on the red carpet at the 2026 Grammys, Jelly shared his hope of one day taking part in a halftime show, especially if the game were ever held in Nashville.
“The Super Bowl could possibly come to Nashville in the next three to five years — we’re getting a new stadium,” the “Save Me” singer said. “And I have a dream that they do a country music-themed Halftime Show, and maybe, perhaps, they’ll let me do a little 20 to 30 second thing in it.”
Jelly explained he would love to see the entire country music “community” represented in the show, including the likes of big names including Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson.
