Because of this, there are many opportunities to watch Trebek even after he’s passed away, including on Thanksgiving Day. He shared a special message for the Thanksgiving episode, which feels more powerful now.
“Happy Thanksgiving, ladies and gentlemen. You know, in spite of what America and the rest of the world is going through right now, there are many reasons to be thankful,” he said. “There are more and more people extending helpful hands to do a kindness to their neighbor, so that’s a good thing. Keep the faith. We’re gonna get through all of this and we will be a better society because of it.”
