Lineup For The 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Includes Several Country Artists

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade ushers in the Christmas season, delighting families in the morning as ovens begin preheating turkey, stuffing, and more.

This year marks the parade’s 99th year, having been established in 1924.

For home viewers, or those fortunate to be there on 34th Street in New York City, seeing the marching bands and balloons is a highlight of the parade, and there are, of course, many celebrities who perform on floats, too.

Among those who will be performing this year are several country stars, including Jewel, Russell Dickerson, Drew Baldridge, and Mickey Guyton.

The Country Performers In The Parade

Part of the fun of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is seeing familiar stars perform in an unusual setting: like atop a float that has been designed to look like a winter wonderland.

While it is not yet known which songs all of the artists will be performing, we do know which floats they will be performing on in the parade.

Jewel will be performing on a float called The Land of Ice and Wonder, which is for Holland America Line.

When the news of her upcoming appearance was made, Jewel posted on Facebook, “I’m so excited to share that I’ll be performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year! Can’t wait to celebrate the season with you all.”

On the Heartwarming Holiday Countdown, which is for The Hallmark Channel, country artists Mickey Guyton and Drew Baldridge will be performing together, singing their Christmas song “Joy To Your World.”

Notably, Guyton was the first Black woman to ever be nominated for Best Solo Country Performance at the Grammy’s for her 2020 song “Black Like Me.”

Baldridge commemorated the news that he would be in the parade by sharing a video to social media, which can be seen here:

Coming off the August release of his album Famous Back Home, Russell Dickerson will be performing on the Harvest In The valley float, which is for Green Giant.

“No, I did not stutter,” said Russell Dickerson upon sharing in a video online that he will be on the Green Giant float. “Yes, it’s going to be epic!”
