Will The Noted Cowboys Fan Make Things “Rowdy” At The Thanksgiving Game?

“Always goin’ for it, never punt fourth down. Last call, Hail Mary, Prescott touchdown, ayy.”

Later this November, many American families will have members saying, “Wow,” as they take that first bite of the bird at Thanksgiving dinner.

Afterward, they may see “Wow,” by Post Malone, performed at the halftime show for the customary Thanksgiving football game between “America’s Team,” aka the Dallas Cowboys; and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Right now, it’s all but confirmed, but it’s looking like Post Malone will, indeed, have the honor of performing as the headliner of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show this Thanksgiving.

Decipher The Clues In Video Possibly Hinting At Post Malone’s Performance

At 3:30 p.m. EST on November 27, the Dallas Cowboys will play against the Kansas City Chiefs at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

This Thanksgiving matchup between the Cowboys and the Chiefs goes back to 1966, with the two competing every year except 1975 and 1977.

In a video shared by the Dallas Cowboys to social media, a variety of clues are presented regarding who will be performing at the Thanksgiving football game’s halftime show.

Opening on a shot of a full quill ostrich cowboy boot putting the pedal to the metal, we then see an 18-wheeler coming over the horizon.

Post Malone is known for sporting these particular kind of cowboy boots, and he has made trucking part of his persona, with a comic book series called Big Rig.

From there, a bobblehead of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott can be seen by a Salvation Army bell on the dash of the truck. Of course, Post Malone name dropped Prescott in his song “Wow.”

As the truck parks, we then see those ostrich cowboy boots again with a better glimpse of the slim fit jeans.

Then, the Cowboys’ mascot, Rowdy, can be seen running onto the field. Post Malone is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys — with the singer sporting a Cowboys jersey in his music video for “Pour Me A Drink” — and his own cowboy hat resembles the shape of Rowdy’s.

If Post Malone performs at the Thanksgiving game, he will be following in the footsteps of the 2024 performer, Lainey Wilson; and the 2023 performer, Dolly Parton.

Now, with the Chiefs playing, there’s a chance that Post Malone won’t be the only music superstar in attendance, as Taylor Swift is engaged to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
