Country singer Jimmie Allen, famed for hits like “Best Shot” and “Good Times Roll,” dropped a personal bombshell recently.
Via a string of Instagram stories, Allen gave his fans an unexpected peek into his private life, introducing his six children.
Before this revelation, followers were only aware of the fact that the artist had four kids. With his estranged wife Alexis Gale, he co-parents daughters Naomi (4) and Zara (2), as well as son Cohen (5 months). Additionally, Allen is dad to Aadyn (9) from a prior relationship.
Surprising his fans, Allen unveiled snapshots of twins Aria and Amari (9 months), allegedly born to him by another woman last summer…all while he was still wedded to Alexis.

Allen And Alexis Split
Allen and Alexis tied the knot in June 2020. But things took a turn in April 2023 when they announced they were separating, also revealing they were expecting their third child.
The singer filed for divorce on April 28, 2023, the same day he faced allegations from his former manager for assault and sexual abuse, which he has denied and recently resolved.
Shortly after, Alexis also filed for divorce, both citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Public Apologies And Private Struggles
The following month, Allen publicly apologized to Alexis on social media, expressing regret for “humiliating her with my affair.” He admitted feeling ashamed for bringing her undeserved shame.
During the summer of 2023, he then welcomed his twins with another woman.
Allen and Alexis celebrated the arrival of their third child together, son Cohen, in September. Then, just a month later, Allen’s representatives informed PEOPLE that the couple had reconciled.
“[The divorce] was never fully seen through legally,” said Allen’s representative at the time. “They decided to work on things together and are still together.”
However, in the months following, it seems the couple has gone their separate ways. Observers have noticed that neither of them wears their wedding bands anymore.
On top of that, recent Instagram stories posted by Alexis suggest that the couple’s relationship is anything but amicable.
Alexis Speaks Out
Alexis shared a not-so-subtle jab at the country singer’s recent announcement of fathering two additional children with another woman on her social media.
In a video posted on Tuesday (March 19), Alexis addressed the controversy, leaving little doubt that she’s reached her breaking point with Allen amidst his recent indiscretions.
Though she doesn’t explicitly mention her husband, her words seem to allude to the situation. She says:
“Those lies…they will always catch up to you. What is done in the dark will come out in the light. Every. Single. Time.”
Alexis added that people will “always expose themselves” and that the truth will “always come out.”
She mentions putting her faith in God and expresses her decision to refrain from discussing her situation with Allen further. However, she couldn’t resist mentioning that people’s true colors eventually come to light.
Alexis concludes on a positive note, stating her intention to focus on moving forward with her day and her life, seemingly without dwelling on Allen’s newborn twins.
On Wednesday, March 20, she posted a photo that read:
“Character is who you are when no one’s watching.”
