Chrisley Family Tells All In Upcoming Fox News Interview

Almost one month has passed since Todd and Julie Chrisley, of Chrisley Knows Best, were pardoned by President Donald Trump, and they’re both speaking out now about the freedom they’ve been given.

Airing on Fox News at 9 p.m. (EST) this Saturday, June 28, Todd and Julie will be on My View with Lara Trump, joined by their daughter, Savannah; and their son, Grayson.

Ahead of the interview being broadcast, Fox News has released a clip from the family’s discussion with Lara Trump, former chair of the Republican National Convention and wife to Eric Trump, and the clip offers a glimpse of Julie’s first public comments since being pardoned.

A Look Back At The Chrisley’s Pardon

After over two years in separate federal prisons, Todd and Julie received full presidential pardons from Trump on May 27.

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with 16 months of probation, after being found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Similarly, Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison, having been convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. Further, she also received wire fraud and obstruction of justice charges.

Their prison sentence began on January 17, 2023, and it found Savannah โ€” the eldest of the couple’s children together โ€” becoming guardian for her youngest siblings, Chloe and Grayson.

It also saw Savannah embark upon a crusade to free her parents, who she believes were victims of political persecution. Becoming a senior fellow of CPACโ€™s Nolan Center For Justice, Savannah was afforded greater access to politicians who could bring about the change she desired, including many figures in Trumpโ€™s administration.

Among those figures was a woman who would go on to become Trump’s “pardon czar,” Alice Marie Johnson, who was famously pardoned by Trump in his first term, with help from Kim Kardashian, in 2019 after serving 21 years in prison for cocaine trafficking.

Julie’s Comments In Upcoming Fox News Interview

After being released from prison on May 28, Todd was joined by Savannah for a press conference on May 30, with Todd noting Julie was absent to spend time with their youngest children.

But now, with a clip of their forthcoming appearance on My View with Lara Trump, we can hear from Julie how she initially reacted to the news of being pardoned.

“I called Savannah one more time, and she said, ‘He did it, he signed it!'” Julie recalled of learning Trump had pardoned her. “I just started busting out crying.”

She recalls how everyone looked at her in prison, not knowing why she was crying, so she says she just hung up, adding, “It was the craziest thing, and everybody was just looking at me because, unfortunately, most of the news that you get in prison is bad news.”

Asked if she was OK, Julie remembers tearfully saying, “I am, I’m getting out of here!”
