He may be one of the hottest country singers on the scene, but he’s in the running for an Emmy! Last year Justin Moore showed off his wacky sense of humor on talkshow Jimmy Kimmel Live with his tale of a man’s unfortunate run-in with a shower stool, titled “The Ballad of Claus Jorstad (Devil Stool).”

The skit was co-written by Kimmel and Gary Greenburg and performed by the country singer in a hysterical parody video telling the true story of a Norwegian man who got his “family jewels” stuck in an IKEA shower stool.

“If you had told me I would be a part of earning an Emmy nod for singing a song about what I did, I would have thought you were crazy,” said Justin according to radio station KATM. “Nonetheless, it’s very cool to hear. I’m excited for Jimmy and his crew. Hopefully, we can bring it home. They told me this week they would share it with me, so it would be pretty cool to add an Emmy to the mantle.”

The song is nominated in the category of  “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics,” and after you watch the video, you’ll definitely see why!
